About Seth
I’m a counselor, ministry leader, and teacher with a passion for helping people find clarity, healing, and hope in Jesus. My work blends professional mental health training with a deeply pastoral heart.
My Heart for This Work
I believe that the Lord cares deeply for those who are hurting.
Over time, I’ve seen that people carry all kinds of pain—some shaped by their own decisions, some by the actions of others, and some simply by the hardships of life. Whatever the source, I believe the first movement of God’s heart toward us is compassion.
I count it a privilege to walk with people through some of the darkest seasons they may face—to sit with them in what is heavy, confusing, or painful, and to help them begin to make sense of their story in a way that reflects God’s care for them.
As a Christian, I see this work as an opportunity to reflect the heart of Christ—not by forcing answers or rushing change, but by being present as people grow and take steps forward.
At the core of it all, my desire is to help people know God more—not just in theory, but in the real and often difficult places of their lives—and to grow into a deeper sense of clarity, peace, and hope.
Training and Background
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Indiana and provide counseling for adults, teens, and children (ages 6+).
I am currently supervised by Sheryl Barnett, LCSW, as part of the Indiana LMHC licensure process.
My training has equipped me with a strong foundation in evidence-based counseling practices, allowing me to thoughtfully support individuals as they navigate anxiety, grief, relational challenges, and other areas of emotional difficulty.
Ministry Experience
Before launching my private practice, I spent several years serving in local church ministry, teaching, discipling, and walking with people in their spiritual formation.
Today, I continue to serve churches by providing training, resources, and practical tools for volunteer teams, pastors, and leaders who want to shepherd with clarity, compassion, and confidence.
